This year many native and foreign artists will perform at the Summer Sound festival, which will take place on 2 and 3 August – Gogol Bordello, Sigala, Dynoro, Bermudu Divstūris, Carnival Youth, Labvēlīgais tips and others.

This year, the main artists of Summer Sound will be kings of the Gypsy punk music Gogol Bordello, world leaders in electronic music charts Sigala, Lithuanian rising star of electro music Dynoro and the best native bands and artists – Bermudu Divstūris, Carnival Youth, Labvēlīgais tips, Laime Pilnīga, Very Cool People feat. ansis, Edavārdi and Kristīne Prauliņa, Viņa, Double Faced Eels, Makree (Live), Chris Noah and the legendary festival DJ Toms Grēviņš. The artist line-up will be further supplemented with the approaching of the Festival.

While last weekend, artists such as Tujamo, Bermudu Divstūris and Ozols performed at the Summer Sound Spring Session at Rigas Sporta Manēža, along with the best Latvian DJs - Toms Grēviņš, DJ Rudd, Makree and DJ Gustavito, transforming the sports arena into the main nightclub and hotspot of the capital city in just one night, offering a great atmosphere for all the visitors.

In 2019, Summer Sound Festival will take place for the 9th time, and it has certainly become one of the most important summer music events in the Baltics. Thousands of visitors prove it, because each year they travel to the wonderful beach of Liepaja to enjoy two days of musical fun and relaxation right on the seaside. Every year, the festival features more than 50 artists providing a diverse entertainment and activity programme.
