„SHIPSEA” is a musical project created by singer, composer and co-founder of the band „Instrumenti” Jānis Šipkēvics in 2015.The successful debut EP „Shipsea” resulted in an array of sold out solo concerts at the Stricka villa and throughout the rest of the country – including the Vidzeme concert hall and „GORS” in Rēzekne.Currently Jānis Šipkēvics and his fellow artists Miķelis Putniņš and Rūdolfs Macats are working on the new „SHIPSEA” album, due to be released towards the end of the year.The visitors of the performance in Kalnciema kvartāls will have the unique chance to be the first ones to get a glimpse of the new record. Apart from the new tracks, the concert will also feature the well known hits „Taviem ceļiem”, „Mežaparks”, „Citu vārdu”, and others.
