The program includes poetry by Marina Tsvetaeva, Velga Krile and music by their contemporaries – Lūcija Garūta, Jānis Mediņš, Alexander Skriabin, Sergei Rachmaninov, Igor Stravinsky and Sergei Prokofiev.
The first meeting of Ģirts Krūmiņš and Andrejs Osokins will be one of the culminations of the festival. In this concert performance, the sensitive perception of the world expressed in the love poetry of Marina Tsvetaeva and Velga Krile will intertwine with the compositions of Lūcija Garūta, Alexander Scriabin, Sergei Rachmaninov, Igor Stravinsky, Sergei Prokofiev and Jānis Mediņš, – all representatives of the Silver Age music featuring sophistication, strong emotionality and unusual color palette. It will be a wonderful symbiosis of poetry, acting and music to take you into the world of words, sound and rhythm.
Marina Tsvetaeva's poetry will be read in the original language – Russian.
In cooperation with the wine bar “Garage”, the listeners will have the opportunity to enjoy some fine wine during the concert, purchasing it together with the ticket or on site before the event.
