MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival in Valmiermuiža

On 3rd October at 19.00, Valmiermuiža Beer Lounge invites cinema lovers to the international Manhattan Short Film Festival!

MANHATTAN SHORT is a unique festival where viewers around the world become film critics. Over the course of one week, viewers in more than 500 cities around the world, including Latvia's largest cities, will watch and evaluate ten carefully selected short films from different countries, voting for their favorite. The winner will be announced on 6th October.

 "Manhattan Short is an event that brings together film lovers not only as viewers, but also as equal members of the jury. It is a special moment when we all choose together which film will win," says director Staņislavs Tokalovs.

• Films are shown in English and in their original language with subtitles in Latvian and Russian.
• Age of visitors: 12+
• Ticket price: EUR 6 (limited number of seats)
• Duration of the screening: 2 hours 30 minutes

 The festival in Valmiermuiža is represented by the Valmiermuiža Association of Culture. The event is supported by the Valmiermuiža Craft Brewery. Radio SWH and SWH+ provide informational support for the event.
