The Latvian Open Speedway Championship 125 cc is organized for the first time in Riga. The 2023 Latvian Youth Championship was held in Daugavpils, where the talented Riga Speedway rider - Andzejs Smulkevics won the Championship title, and we hope this year Andzejs will also be unbeatable and win his second Latvian Speedway Prize.

Since 2017 when the Speedway tradition has restored in Riga, three generations of Speedway riders have been raised in our Riga speedway family and the riders are successfully competing at international level. It’s time for younger riders to show their riding skills at the Latvian Open Championship, competing with Daugavpils riders and also riders from Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The Speedway Championship in Riga is an exciting and dynamic competition format for young riders and attracts spectators from all around the world. The Championship Meeting commences on June 8 at 15.00 o’clock.
