We’re embracing the beauty of contrast — with a sustainable fashion show in a historic bank building in Oldtown Riga and value-driven creative experiences in modern Grīziņdārzs. On May 21–22, Bourzma Boutique 2026 will transform the city centre of Riga into a meeting point for sustainable fashion and creative culture, bringing together emerging designers and creative talents from Latvia and across Europe. The festival highlights sustainable ready-to-wear fashion, recycled materials, and innovative approaches to environmental challenges — creating a two-day journey where heritage meets urban energy, and conscious fashion meets contemporary culture.

Bourzma Boutique is a sustainable fashion festival that invites audiences to look beyond the surface — using textiles, materials, and design to explore how creativity, community, and responsibility can become drivers of change. The festival’s mission is to spotlight emerging talent and create a platform for collaboration, inspiration, and skill development.
Day one focuses on a curated selection of sustainable fashion brands, featuring designers from Latvia and Europe who express the core values of Bourzma: practicality, aesthetics, and contemporary sustainable fashion.
Day two invites visitors to actively participate in free creative activities, including sustainable fashion workshops, music production stations, and partner-led experiences. A designers’ market will offer the opportunity to meet the creative community and purchase original pieces. The evening programme will build toward the Bourzma Boutique dance battles, bringing together 16 dancers from six European countries in a dynamic fusion of movement, rhythm, and styles.
A key theme of this year’s festival, reflected in its communication and environmental installations, is glass and responsible waste sorting. Artistic installations made from non-recyclable glass will encourage visitors to look through habits, surfaces, and assumptions — and to rediscover value in materials often considered waste. *Bourzma Boutique exists in a world where responsibility becomes a new form of creativity.
The festival will conclude with an impressive afterparty featuring both local and international artists, to be announced in March. The event will follow the distinctive style of Bourzma’s signature music gatherings, with several unexpected elements and surprises planned.
